Sounds in the Silence
In the writing titled Sounds in the Silence written by Charlotte S. I felt very understanding to everything she wrote about. This poem definitely made me feel joy and sadness all at the same time. “The waves on the sand” made me remember all the family vacations my family and I too to the beach during the summer. I thought of all the times my cat Jelly and I have cuddled after I read “The purr of a cat”. “Fireworks in the sky” made me think of The Fourth of July when my uncle and I would set off fireworks. “Someone’s last words ever, followed by the their loved ones quiet cry” made me remember the day I came home from school to receive the news that my uncle had passed away earlier in the day. “The sounds in the silence will never die”, and I couldn’t agree with that more.
