In the poem “Secure” by Samir Yellapragada security guards and many other people are stereotyping him because he is from a Arabic heritage. He wasn’t allowed on the plane because he looked Arabic. Stereotyping makes me angry. Wherever he goes people think  he will blow something up because of what he looks like. This great poem makes me want to make a difference in this world. It makes me want to take a stand against everyone who stereotypes people. We have to make a change and stop stereotyping; it really hurts people. I feel fortunate that this is not my personal experience, but sterotyping affects all of us.
