Happiness and the Lake
The piece “Happiness and the Lake” made me feel relaxed. It made me feel like I was there with the people. It took me back to the summer nights I had had. In the piece it says, “I sit surrounded by darkness, but I am not scared. The fire and friends are right in front on me” I have had nights just like the piece had said. Over the summer, I had nights just like that, where I could be sitting in darkness and not be afraid because my friends and family were right there. In the piece it also says “Stress is just a word, not a feeling.” Nights in the summer were just like that, where stress was just a word, not a feeling.
