Memes are a current element of social media which is an amusing image, video, piece of text, etc. which include slight variations to amuse the teen/adult audience. Memes are rapidly spread through internet users and they are highly made in today's society. Veronica Church writes a humorous, short poem about memes which has made my day.

In Church's poem, "Memes", she even includes a pun in her poem in the first line, "Make life meme-ingful." I was extremely excited to share this poem to my peers and for Teen Ink to include writing pieces closely related to today's society. Thank you for making my day "meme-ingful" Veronica Church.
