“Trick-or-toothbrush?”
In response to the article “Trick-or-toothbrush?” posted October 28, 2008, I encourage this dentist’s movement. I promote his desire to lessen the candy consumption of the youth, but I doubt it will be successful. Halloween is supposed to be a holiday to honor the dead, but it has transformed into an excuse to give children sweets. This habit is corrupting children’s lifestyle choices and encouraging them to have bad eating habits. However, I do not think a dollar and a toothbrush is enough to separate these children from their prized treats.
