Feedback on "To Wink"
The piece that I am reviewing is "To Wink" by Taytumn Bush. This piece is about his deaf sister. He talks about what used to happen when he walked into her room. It startsoff with him calling her name a hundred times, because she was either so into a book or her hearing aid was off. We learn about their connection and how they have a very strong bond. When she sees him she'll hug him. His sister then passed away but left him saying "Granny is waiting for me."
I love fiction stories so it's no surprise that I ending up picking a fiction piece. It was so emotional and made my eyes wattery. It was such a great piece because of how the readers felt. I felt so drawn to it and felt like I was her sister. Overall I loved this piece. It was so hearfelt and sweet and I recommend reading it.
