Review of I Hate School by Megan Lewis
In the writing titled “I Hate School” written by Megan L., I felt ashamed about saying I hate school. This selection is extremely well written. I personally can relate to this story. The author stated, “I’m troubled by the high percentage of my peers who frequently proclaim those three words: “I hate school,” I do say those words all the time. After reading the article I was saddened to know that people in other countries are risking their lives to attend school. She states “When Malala Yousafzai . . . the militant group issued a death threat against her.” This young girl was shot and near death because she stood up from women in schooling. It sickens me to know that somewhere out there somebody isn’t getting an education. Maybe school isn’t bad after all.
