I Hate School
In the writing titled “I Hate School” written by Megan L. I felt her writing about students’ attitude towards school and blessings left me feeling shocked. I liked how Lewis connected to the readers in her intro; saying, “I hate school. Admittedly, I used to share this same viewpoint.” I can relate to kids hating school because they like to do other things than just study. She then connects Nobel Prize winner, Malala Yousafzai to her claim. I think this is a strong argument because girls overseas are threatened to go to school and get an education. She then points out that we should be thankful for what we have. “If we aren’t conscious of, and grateful for our blessings, What do we have”? Because of these reasons I believe this is a strongly written piece.
