"The Death of Chivalry" by Anna Sugrue, is a rather interesting piece, bold enough to take a more defined stance on what's defined as chivalry, and what seems to have happened to it. Chivalry is defined as courtesy or a friendly, kind disposition with manners and sympathy. Being aptly named "The Death of Chivalry," one may imagine the case in what's changed over time. Such is to the point that I can agree with what the article states.

Teen Ink gratuitously decided to print in their enlarged font a particular quote from the article saying, "Gentlemanly manners have been pushed aside," to which I feel I can agree with. Another particular statement that sticks out would be the mentioning that "Chivalry is not dead, but rather suppressed by the modern cultural image of masculinity," to which the author reiterates later on rather strongly. All-around speaking, it took a relatively strong approach to the topic, and I'm glad to have stumbled upon it.
