Pj's for Patients
“PJ’s for Patients” by Athena S. is a sweet and inspiring article. Athena talks about how she wants to make a difference with the children who have cancer and have to spend the holidays in the hospital. She wants to try and bring more happiness and comfort, so she came up with a charity called “PJ’s for Patients.” "PJ’s for Patients" is a charity that collects new cotton pajamas for pediatric cancer patients who are getting treatments away from home. I think that by trading in a boring old hospital gown for fun festive pajamas, is a small but very effective difference in the children’s lives who have cancer. Cancer is particularly hard on children because they have to be cooped up in a hospital room 24/7 and the idea of bring stylish comfortable pajamas is one of the many ways that can be used to put a smile on the faces of the poor children that have cancer.
Keep up the good work, Athena.
