At Home With Animals
The article I read was “At Home With Animals” by Allen H. I really liked this article and I relate because I have a hard time making friends. After my parents figured that out they got me a dog and she gave me a friend that I could talk to. My dog was always there for me, until she was given to my grandparents so that they had a pet that was well trained and was good at guarding their house. Although she was given to my grandparents I soon got a cat. I didn’t have an as strong friendship with my cat as I did with my dog. I soon developed the social skills that I needed to establish friendships with people in my grade and older. I think that this article is very well written and strongly relatable.
