Bullied
The short story “Bullied” remind me of my middle school experience because I was bullied and treated similar to the author. I really connect with this story because I remember the feeling I got when I got up for school every day, I felt sick to my stomach and I was always scared beyond belief. I had no idea if I would have anyone to talk to and how bad the torturing would be. Just like the girl in the article I was liberated when someone finally stood up for me and showed me that I can’t let people push me around. That day forward I defended myself, naturally things got better and the memories of my past began fading. I believe this article is a must read for teenagers so that they can fully understand the effects of bullying others.
