In “When I Run” by Zoe Johnson, she describes how she feels when she runs, and that when she runs, she feels that she can get away from the real world where she struggles, and take a hold of her mind and how much time she has to think of her thoughts and memories, and experiences. Each time she runs, she goes further, not even thinking of how far she is running or how fast she is going, but just likes the way it makes her mind feel open. I think that this piece of writing is well explained and thoughtful, and catches my attention because I am also a runner and love the experience of it. When reading this piece of evidence, I like when the writer says “When you’re a superhero, bounding through the streets and over the trails with your mighty stride, you can accomplish all your life goals,” because it explains how she can accomplish anything when she runs. That is why I like this well written piece of evidence.
