teen ink

I think teen ink is one of the most inspirational magazines I have ever read in my entire life. As a kid I used to separate myself from others. I can’t remember how I did this but I do remember that it was purposeful. I didn’t like others. I always thought that the way that I acted, dressed, and what I thought made me different from others. Sixth grade was probably the worst time I did this. There were people from different schools that I have never seen or heard of before. They (in truth) scared me. I got failing grades all the time and never did any extra curricular activities because of fear of individuality. In seventh grade I started to branch out a little more. I talked to people I would normally avoid and share my ideas (I still felt a little shy about it). Now, in eighth grade I am very social to anybody I meet. Teen ink is just a reminder to me that other people have gone through the same things as me and lived to tell the tale. I thank teen ink for giving inspiration to others who are still isolating themselves from people just like them.
