Worth It
In "Worth It" in the October issue of Teen Ink, I felt connected by AlleaBelle Gongola's writing. I agree with the author that everything you do for the game is worth it. You may not think it is at the time when its 100 degrees out and you doing sprints. It is worth it when all those drills, workouts, and practices pay off in a game, and you are victorious because you had practiced the situation before. I also questioned whether its worth it when i can't feel my legs, and coach blows his whistle for another sprint. I aslo wondered how the little drills that coaches make us do everyday are going to help me in a real game. Its the greatest feeling when you see all the hard work and extra practices you put in show in a game. Where you were one step ahead of your opponent, and you earn the victory because of all the hard work you put in.
