Feedback on "Stranger in My House."
Undoubtedly, everyone believes at one point or another that there's someone in their house; that there's an unknown person tip toeing the hallways you've grown up in and intend to harm you. It's terrifying- everyone's felt that feeling. In this piece by Shannon Reilly, that feeling comes to life. It hops off the page and right through your chest and into your heart.
Incredible detail and suspense pours out of the page as you read. The jiggling of the door knob, then the crashing sound of the cage tumbling to the floor. All I can say is this submission was great and the editors of Teen Ink, once again, made a splendid decision of putting this in the magazine.
