What Love Taught
"What love taught" by kate dudek from the January issue is a powerful moving piece of a long distance romance that lasts through a man in the service and a woman who waits for his arrival home. The strength of this poem when i read it had hit me hard where it counts. I felt as if the peom was written for me. I also am waiting for a relative to come back from over seas. These tree short lines are the closest connection through poetry I have felt so far.
