Concussion Repercussions
Concussion Repercussions, by Pavit P, describes the many steps professional football has taken towards reducing the long-term effects of concussions in the sport. While I see often that many players complain about no longer being able to play “real” football because of this, they are being enacted for their health and safety. I agree with the NFL for instituting these changes; while there may be some dislike for a while, years from now, the benefits of the new policies (such as more testing and giving doctors the final say) will come back to help the people it currently supposedly hurts: the players. Dissent comes along with anything new, and I would applaud the NFL for its changes regarding player safety.
