In wake of scandals college worth comes from within
I wholeheartedly agree with Maria Proulx in her article "In wake of scandals college worth comes from within" because she discusses how wanting to be in a top college is something all students strive for but struggle with. Maria explains really well what teens go through and how extreme it can get to be in an Ivy league college, for example, "Along with bribing admission officers students fake disabilities, hired others to take their SAT or ACT, created phony charties, or pretended to be an athlete to make the cut." Maria highlights all the serious problems about the college admission scandals but also gives teens the reassurance that we determine our own success not the college we get into. Thank you Maria for shining light onto a serious topic that should be talked about and for letting your teen readers know that the college they go to does not determine how succesfull they will be.
