Critique of Mother's Day
The writing titled “Mother’s Day,” written by Maddy V., talks about her mother. Her writing left me feeling appreciative. This article is written very well. I can relate to this is some ways but in some I can not. She said “My mother was my best friend.” I can relate to this because for me, my mother is also my best friend. I also can not relate to this in some ways because I have never lost a close family member. I feel like it would be hard to write about a topic like this for me especially when she said, “I have been alone on Mother’s day the past eight years.” After I read this I felt very appreciative of my mom and everything she does and I went and thanked her for everything.
