Learning to Love Without Words
I found Heather's article, "Learning to Love Without Words" to be extremely moving because ever since she was little all she wanted to do was not let her grandmother down and did everything in her power to make sure that didn't happen. In the article, Heather discusses how determined she was to be able to speak Spanish to her grandmother so that their bond would never be broken. I wholeheartedly agree with her when she says, "So many things I do in my life, I do for her to repay her for the things I could never say." Each line of this is relatable because everything I do in life, I do for my parents because they have given me everything that I have ever wanted and one day I want to be able to repay them. Thank you, Heather, for taking that time to teach every single person who comes across this article that just because you don't speak the same language as a loved one doesn't mean you don't love them and vice versa.
