The Note That Holds a Thousand Feelings
"The Note That Holds a Thousand Feelings" by Cecile hits home for me. I never knew who my biological father was. I've only ever known stories told of him from my mom. "You bring me sadness because you broke my heart before any boy could," This quote is overused by girls who never knew their father or they had been left by their father. Just as overused as the statement is, it is also just as true. A father to a girl is the only man they should know will always be there for her; someone who loves her and treats her just as any future lover should. I never heard anyone of my family members ever tell me that my 'father' was trying to come in contact with me. It's heartbreaking to feel as if the man who is supposed to love you, doesn't.
