Oil Pastel Contest MAG
A big round of applause for Shreya Chalapalli for winning The Teen Ink Oil Pastel Contest, sponsored by Sakura. Chalapalli’s interpretation of modern America is something I agree with because women are now getting their long-awaited recognition. After decades of being seen as less than men, we are now making our mark and being credited. Not only is Shreya’s artwork amazing because it’s of women, but it shows women of different races and cultures who are making an impact. Thank you, Shreya, for praising women and their well-deserved impact in America today.
