The writing titled “Overgrown Anxieties,” written by Hazel S., talks about anxiety. Her writing left me feeling like I can relate to the story. I was very surprised when I read this because I can relate to this, and it is a very good way to describe what anxiety feels like. I get anxiety sometimes, and it is hard to deal with. This article made me feel like I am not the only one dealing with anxiety. It can sometimes be very hard to tell if someone has anxiety. I don’t see much of the same issue, but I can imagine a lot more people than I think have anxiety. This story is written very well because she was very descriptive: “There are six succulents on my windowsill, each in their own spherical, glass holder.” She also writes, “I can no longer see my window. The vines are thick across the walls and my body is slowly being consumed into a jungle of leaves and twisted blooms.”
