As a student indentifying as non-gender conforming, my parents also have done their best to raise me in an un-prejudiced enviornment. My mom and dad are both big feminists, and trained me to be very aware of the stereotypes and expectations of my sex, which is female. This article spoke to me in a way thast not a lot do, but not only because I can relate to the speaker. The ideas and points made in the memoir are truthful, and more important now than ever. This article showed how children should be raised equally, regardless of sex or gender. Boys deal with toxic masculinity and other predudices along with girls. This article put into flawless description the beliefs I also hold that a childhood shouldnt be gendered or prejudiced.

I think this article would also be exteremly helpful to a lot of parents I've met or heard about. It's eye opening, and says exactly what needs to be said in today's society. Molly Grazioso did a beautiful job on this memoir.
