The Fruits of Loving Your Roots
A big round of applause for Sarah Saeed for her article "The Fruits of Loving Your Roots." I'm happy for you Sarah to express the real you. It must been hard for you to hide the truth from others without being called a terrorist. There is no shame to be Muslim, it's okay to be different. I like the moment when that eldery lady said she liked your scarf which gave you courage to be more you then who you really are not "If I could be comfortable in an American flag hijab, then I could surely embrace my culture every day." Thank you, Sarah for sharing your story to others. I hope you have a great life and have no one judging you for your race or religion.
