Crash into me
make me fall apart
steal my identity
cut out my heart
Rip me to shreds
pulling me down
look into my head
throw me around
Follow me here
as I bleed and I break
listen to my tears
and the sorrow they make
They fall to the ground
and echo through walls
way beyond down
where nobody falls
Come into this place
release my soul
look into my face
and make it go
Follow me, help me
find me inside
help me to be
what I cannot find
Surrounded and seized
broken by fear
drowned and betrayed … please
just release me … from here

The author's comments:
This poem is about feeling lost and confused in this place we call the world. Sometimes life is hard and there are things we don't quite understand but we make it through. Each one of us is strong in our own way and writing is what helps me get through the days. We all have a gift we just haven't realized it yet. We just have to find it. So don't be afraid just accept it and you'll make it through.
