Hey, warm weather lovers, we have a big warm up this month from 51E at the beginning of the month to 62E by the end. Average lows are in the lower 40s.

It's been as hot as 94E in April in 1976, and as low as 11E in 1874.

Normally we get only an inch of snow in April, but we had 28 inches in 1874, when your grandparents had to walk ten miles through it just to get to school!

Just last year we had temps up to 92E on the 27th and 28th, but don't count on that again this year. However, we could see 85E readings on a couple of days.

April is the start of national peak tornado month, although around here our greatest chance is in August. n
