Bullying, a topic so over used and over done that it practically causes more problems as we try to solve it. Anti-bullying presentations are given in public schools time after time with the same message-bullying is bad. Yes, we get it. We understand. In fact students understand it well enough that the phrase "bullying" has lost a majority of its meaning. Then, with teachers thinking their job was done after presentations, no one watches the hallways. No one sees the bullying that occurs because its no longer called that-its presumed in many ways to be just joking around in the halls and etc. In a students mind a situation like this may occur- you walk down the hallway wen suddenly you're repeatedly slammed into the lockers, causing bruises. You can't tell teachers because either they won't do anything about it or its seen as a joke...Does anyone else see what's wrong with this? Students should feel safe in schools. They should not be afraid to walk the halls.
