Though she spoke with confidence,
She wished
To have the birds whistle in reply
To be tickled by the leaves of a tree
To pace a meadow and guiltlessly pluck blooms
To tumble through bushes and bite sweet berries
She wished to be accepted

I really love how original all of your work is. Everything you write is so unique and enjoyabe to read. This poem is a perfect example. It's clever, creative, and refreshing. Five stars for sure!
