This is humanity?
We are human beings; we have always had values in life on what exactly we should be. We need to be perfect, flawless, and brilliant. We want to be what we grew up learning. But look at us now. Look just at any middle school. There are kids being bullied every day. Autistic children are being harassed and excluded. Young girls are pregnant, and small kids are doing drugs and killing themselves. What fault have we created where even the children are acting like us?
5th graders have IPhones, texting, social networking and latest technology and aren’t happy. Does that mean we as a society aren’t happy then? The children study us as they grow up, wanting to be accepted, wanting to be just like everyone else. Is this what we’re showing them?
That this is ok? Our values don’t even seem human anymore.
We say all life is equal?
Fair?
But yet, with the other races, religion and more, we still judge them. We still hurt them. Every day we are judging others and its human instinct now; what you wear, where you go, who you talk to, even who you are, and you’re being judged. Do we fear being ourselves anymore so we become what others want.
But is that it? Is that all to life? Having to be fake to survive? What have we become? Is this humanity? Do we really want to be a part of this? This world that’s so messed up already that we can’t seem to fix.
We’re supposed to live in a perfect world. We can’t be perfect, but we try. Are we trying anymore?
So looking at the world were in now you gotta wonder, what’s next?
