"Never again" they said, after 28 students and teachers lay dead on the floors in the place they should be safest.
"Never again." they said, as the 17 were killed in Parkland, Florida.
"Never again." they said as 311,000 children were experiencing the immense terror at the hands of a gun since Columbine.
"Never again." as an elementary school in Texas's floors were covered in the blood of the innocent. 19 lay dead.

the casualties from 13 of 400 schools that were shot up in the 2010's alone.
45,013 gun violence death in America in 2021.
199,969 gun violence deaths in American from 2014-2021. Only 8 years to destroy that many families, lives, futures, everything.
Save our kids. Save our citizens. Save our country.
Let go of your guns, let go of your selfishness. No person should have the barrel of a gun be the last thing they see in their life.

I am currently a sophomore (class of 2024) and I wrote this piece regarding the immeasurable amounts of deaths due to gun violence in America. We need change, we need safety.
