One Sentence Horror Story Contest Entry
Wearily, I left my bed to soothe my restless baby, her cries piercing through the silence of the night, but as I groggily pushed myself off the bed, my heart painfully shattered, and a feeling of horror soon after flooded throughout me when I then recalled that my baby had taken her final breath many months ago.

I'm 14 years old and have always loved to write. This is my first submission to Teen Ink. I spent a bit tweaking this but I'm not sure how good it is. English isn't my first language so sorry for anything that doesn't flow right. Also, this is my first attempt at such a short horror story, so it might not be that good.
