I had a chance.

They gave me two options.

I chose the safe one.

Big mistake. Nothing's safe anymore.

The air around me was thick and dense.

Taking a step closer to the crack in the earth, I reached my hand out. Instantly, my fingers struck something solid.

I smiled to myself, the wall was still there.

The wall is technically the only thing that keeps you humans alive. Without the wall, well, lets just say you probably wouldn't be here anymore.

{I don't know why I was back. It was almost as if an invisible force had pulled me here. The place where it all began. }

"What are you doing?"

I spun around. I was not expected company. Behind me stood a girl. Her hand was placed on her hip and she was looking at me skeptically. "I said what are you doing?" She repeated, looking very annoyed.

I didn't think I could pull of the whole, ' maybe if im quite, she'll go away' thing so, I answered," I'm-uh-looking for something."

Obviously not pleased, she asked another question, " What are you looking for? Maybe I can help."

This girl sure had a lot of questions. I didn't like it.
