THE TAKERS

I knew it was coming. I always wondered what it would look like, how would it happen and when. All I know is it happened so fast.
There was no time for grief only thing to worry about now was survival. my family wasn't ready and I knew. They tried to save me and in the process they were taken. Now gone, seemingly forever.
The flame of hope I had that my family would come back was extingushed months ago. No one could explain their presence as it was very unusual.
There was never an official name for them but I know them as THE TAKERS
