I could hear her footsteps before I saw her, their soft taps on the floor. I could hear the sluggish rhythm as they barely separated from the wood. Her left sleeve entered the room first, her hand trembling. This was the clearest moment. The rest of her emerged. Oh, so beautiful she was! The brown hair resting upon sunken shoulders. Gorgeous, almond-shaped eyes blurred with tears. Her pretty face contorted with despondence. Her gaze aloft. Somewhere far where the sparrows fly, and the crows don't dare to go. Her body tremored yet the elegance made her dance. Time began again. She broke the news.
