Open Letter To Random People
Dear Random People,
You may have seen me in the streets, in the mall, or in some store, doing who-knows-what. If I have offended you then I apologize that you were born so sensitive. And for those that enjoyed the spice I added to your life, I thank for appreciating my gift of Interesting experiences. I love to break social norms, it’s what I do. Seeing everyone try to avoid attention that might lead to embarrassment is pretty hard to tolerate. I don’t know why this feeling comes to me, but you people just make me want to break the barriers. I may have embarrassed you, but didn’t you notice that nothing came with that embarrassment. Maybe you heard a couple of laughs, but that was it, no harm done. Society is practically not allowed to react to whatever you do in public, so why wouldn’t you do what you want, you’d be surprised at how much fun you can have. For those that were flat-out annoyed by my actions, deal with it. If my 5 seconds of harassment caused you so much pain that you had to yell on the top of your lungs at me, then I think it’s time you saw a therapist. Calling me an “keister cave” won’t stop me from barking at your daughter. So calm down, I’m not here to screw up your life, I’m just here to add some variety and give you some funny story to tell your friends. None of you are chained and forced to obey society, so why do you. This country calls itself free, why don’t you test it out? Maybe you don’t understand the concept of freedom, but I’m pretty sure that it means I’m allowed to pursue happiness in whatever way I see fit, even if that way is climbing up street lamps. You have so much pride in your country, that you get blinded by its “dream” and can’t see what it was built on so many years ago. Its true that the founding fathers didn’t really plan on having the youth of the country doing handstands in the middle of the road, but they did want a country where you couldn’t get arrested for it. So while I’m outside breathing the fresh air of freedom, I apologize for trying to break you out of your social cage.
Sincerely,
A Random Dude
