Have Nothing Left
His hands shaking, arms weak, and palms sweaty make it almost impossible to hold the gun firmly in his hand. His eyes are burning as is his heart with rage and hatred for the man he’s staring down at gun point.
“The scariest thing in existence is to stand next to a man that has nothing to lose.” – Unknown
Reginald: I finally figured out who had taken my entire life, spit on it and covered it with my loved ones’ blood. He was one of my own; a person to which I had given all of my trust and faith. I would’ve lay down and died for this man and in return he laid my family down before me so I could watch them slip away to the cold, clammy hands of death.
Charles: I had a reason to every single movement I made within the last few days. From every single murder to every single breath; it was all accounted for to make sure that Reg’ suffered to the furthers of his inner being. I wanted him to crumble from the outside in to his core, ending with his heart and soul to be left wilting away in the ash of Satan himself. I hated everything Reginald stood for; hated the way he walked, looked, smelled, and the way he took life for granted. He was handed everything in his life by a higher power or by coincidence, whichever you prefer, and I couldn’t stand to see someone like him who had harmed so many just pass through this world with such ease and no pain. We’ve all felt pain unimaginable to us, whether that is a tragic death or a broken heart; he’s never even had as bad of an experience as some mud on the bottoms of his shoe. Whether you call me a sinner or that of a saint for my actions is entirely up to you, but know that if he’d still stand here, you’d all be oppressed and wishing that you’d had a way out of his treacherous and distorted world.
Reginald: I had a vision, which that only a man chosen carefully by God is given to see. I had a plan to create the perfect world, a precise image of what could be if we all helped to make this land and universe the best it could be. You can give a hand to Charles Grawlord for ruining this crisp image. He’s the polar opposite of what I saw, and now that he’s destroyed all of me and all of you, make the judgment to keep him in power or to slaughter his ever being. Choose wisely because you are the only one that matters at this point.
It didn't matter who chose what, because Reg' mercilessly murdered Charles there on the spot with ruthless aggression. He felt good for the first time since Charles killed Reginald's family right in front of Reg's eyes. Reg took this moment where he felt infinite and gathered all he could from nature and life. Knowing he'd spend the rest of his life in prison for killing such an important man, he turned the gun on himself so he could once again be with his loving family.
