Foul World
In the foul world of animosity, I lose control. I lose my sanity, my awareness, my diligence, my hope. My solitude has been disturbed. This awakens my presence, when I wanted to be invisible. Not wanting to be seen, not wanting to be bothered.
I’m living in fear of death. I tremble at your touch, my world crumbling. You’re just like the rest. You’re just like the rest..
How I detest the lies that escape your lips. Your eyes cannot hide the truth, for they are the windows to the soul. I know now, not to trust. To stay hollow, I must. Love is a disease. Hope and desire, just lust. Lust and love are not the same, but, with both you still get damaged. For lust controls the brain, while love controls the heart. As I dodge the arrows, I’m stricken with a dart. Right through my heart.
