The Tale of Noggin' Bop
Once upon a time there was a robot named Noggin' Bop
All he wanted to do was dance
But in order to be able to, he first needed to be cranked
But being a lonesome blue robot boy
No one would turn his dial to give him energy
So there he sat on the desk
Surrounded by papers, a camera, a pig, and stickers
With his last dance move still posed
Longing for more movement
One day, a girl was sad and needed cheering up
She discovered Noggin' Bop's blue plastic self, posed and smiling
She picked him up, turned his dial a few times,
Placed him on the table top and Noggin' Bop's dance moves were released
From side to side his little mechanical hips and arms swayed
His head bopped to invisible music
As the gears clicked and spun over and over
A smile grew on the girl's face
As she watched the little robot boy dance
Alas, his gears clicked off and once again Noggin' Bop was still
The girl's smile faded slowly
To fight the sadness she picked him up again,
Turned his dial, placed him down and watched his moves
Her smile soon returned as the robot boy performed
Their smiles matched as the invisible music played on
Every time his gears slowed and stopped,
The girl would pick him up and start him again
From then on, Noggin' Bop and the girl were as happy as could be
The End.
