I see your pink face, maimed by a strangling fever and other diseases I cannot diagnose through my limited knowledge of the human body, and I hear your muffled sobs into the pillows, and I see your bloodshot eyes, and I think, this is such a big pain for such a small body, and oh god, if I could take it all into me, I would, I would, and then you cry again, about your head hurting, and I cannot help but wonder, if your heart is hurting too.
