"I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles."

SOPHIE:
What do I think? I think it's sad. I think it's sad that I don't have a relationship with my own father. We don't talk much and we don't know anything about each other. I'm scared of him. Of what he used to be. All I've ever known him to be was an angry and drunk. i know he's changed, but every time I look at him, that's all I see. He would yell and storm about the house, tearing our family apart and no matter how much I love him, I'll never forgive him for that.

My acting coach told me to write a monologue for our class and I came up with this but I didn't want to share it with the class because it is really personal. Tell me what you think.
