The last time I laid down on the ground was in July
Its December , its breezy and cold out here
There used to be grass out here
Then I started to think
What would it be like without weather

What if it was a mixture of seasons
As I was about to chuckle about the statements I made
A woman approaches me
She is whispering something
I was never good at reading lips

She says her name is weather
I begin to laugh at her
I begin to look at the sky
Pay attention at the funny shaped clouds
They were passing by like race cars

The weatherman said it was going to be 20 degrees
To me I felt comfortable sitting on the cold snow
I’m from Antarctica
It’s always cold there
As the woman interrupted my thoughts

She being to whisper “can I use your coat”
She whispered “I’m very cold”
She wasn’t lying
I could tell she was cold by her purple lips
They were as purple as Barney

I went to take my coat off for the woman
When I turned around she had frozen
I felt guilty
Her was this woman begging for help
I took her begging for a joke

I immediately went into shock
What should I do?
Where I was, there was no ambulance near
The ambulance was about an hour away
I was scared to touch her body

I put my coat over her body
I felt her pulse
I learned that in health class
She was alive
The woman’s last words were,

“ Thanks you, kind man, “
Then she paused
I could tell words were trying to come out here mouth
She was forcing the word out
She said “ My name is weather”
