Black
I walked down the road. It was black outside. Not dark, not pitch black, just black. It almost seemed as if there was nothing. I could not see, smell, taste, touch, or hear. Nothing, absolutely nothing. Not a star in the sky, a plane overhead, a street light near. There wasn’t an owl hooting, or a wolf howling, or a dog barking. The silence was deafening, but I continued. I couldn’t feel my self walking, nor breathing, nor feeling the world around me. I couldn’t feel anything, yet I continued walking. I walked towards the darkness and away from the darkness. I walked in darkness, I walked in nothing but black.
