The forgotten Memory
As my fellow students around me take their seats and sounds begins to fill the class, i look across the room.
Her seat is empty, again.
It has been a year since that dreadful ngiht, the party, the Accident.
As the teachers tells us to settle down my thoughts begin to wander..
I only remember parts of that Saturday night, so long ago it's a blur to me.
But i remember and hearing the sirens and seeing the flashing lights.
Guilt is the only thing that comes to my mind. It flows through my veins and in my head. I never spoke to Sharon, but i remember seeing her stumbling down the steps, obviously drunk with tear stained cheeks.
Why didn't i stop her from getting in her car?
Then maybe the accident would have never happened..
My thoguhts drift back to class.. and before i know it the bell rings and im off to second period.
The memory was there, and then it wasn't.
