Treasure Hunt

Wading through the river, almost swept away from the current. Stuck in vines, I thrash about until I’m free. The final obstacle, a 100 ft ravine that I jump over with ease. There it is, the sunlight glimmers off the smooth gold finish on the tough walnut wood, the treasure. Grandma calls out, “Dinner’s ready”.
