Jake saw his dad leave very discreetly every Tuesday at 7 pm. The first few times he really didn't think about it because his dad was leaving quietly every time, but now that it's happening every week Jake is suspicious of his dad and wondering what he is doing.

A few weeks later, he sees his dad's computer screen open with his bank transactions and there is a purchase of a Four Seasons hotel room. Now Jake is even more suspicious of his dad, so he takes an Uber to the Four Seasons hotel and asks the clerk for a room key to his family's hotel room.  What he sees astonishes him.  He sees a poker table and wonders to himself, why does his dad have a nice hotel room with a poker table? Jake doesn't want to ask his dad about it so he comes up with a plan: next Tuesday he'll go back to the Four Seasons hotel at 7:30 to catch his dad in the act.

On Tuesday when he gets to the room, Jake sees a bunch of celebrities in the room. He asks his dad why they are there. Then his dad, John, tells his son the truth about how he makes money. He runs underground poker games. Jake asks his dad why hasn´t he told him or his mom about these underground poker games? His dad told Jake that if he didn’t, can´t tell his mom. His dad said that Jake was lucky to find out, and he didn’t tell his mom about it his dad would buy him whatever he wanted. Jake accepted the deal his dad offered, but he felt guilty that he couldn’t tell his mom. Jake wonders to himself why can´t his mom know, but that was none of his business he thought. Jake wanted to stop thinking about it, but he just couldn’t get it out of his head for weeks even though his dad gave him everything he wanted, like a brand new 2020 Audi R8 with 0 miles.

The next Tuesday, Jake decided he wanted to help his dad with the underground poker games. He asks his dad if he can help, and his dad accepts. Now every Tuesday at 7:30 Jake was going with his dad to the poker game. When he got there he saw some shady people, and he couldn’t get that feeling out of his head, but Jake doesn’t say anything to his dad about it. Instead, he gets their names and looks them up. These people are wanted by the FBI, but by the time Jake finds out the truth, it’s too late! His dad was arrested by the FBI because he was running an illegal underground poker game. The FBI arrested everyone in the room at the time. It was a good thing that Jake was in the bathroom when the arrests happened, but he wondered what would he tell his mom. Then he got an idea. He would tell his mom that his dad went on a business trip for a few weeks, and with the money Jake was making from the poker games, he would bail his dad out of jail.

When John got out of jail, he thanked Jake profusely. His dad asked if Jake told his mom about what happened with the poker games and the FBI. Jake said that he told mom that his dad went on a business trip. Jake asked his dad what they would do now because the government wants to take everything from their family. His dad tells him that they’re going to move to Mexico and work for El Capo because those people in the poker games were really good friends with him. Jake interrupted his dad because before the arrests his dad told him that he didn´t know they were wanted. Jake´s dad tells him that he knew they were wanted, but they were bringing in all of his customers. Jake asks his dad how are they supposed to get to Mexico without getting caught, and what about mom? His dad said that they will figure it out.

The next day, they start their journey to Mexico. John confesses to his wife, so she goes to stay with her mom, but Jake said he would go to Mexico with his dad, but how would they get there Jake thought to himself. A few hours later his dad got them a brand new 2021 Cadillac Escalade, but before they left in their Escalade they had to go to several banks to get all $5.4 million before the government got it, so Jake took his Audi R8 and John took the Cadillac Escalade to the bank. Jake got out $2.5 million and John, his dad, got $2.9 million all in cash, so they needed a bigger SUV, like the Escalade, to get all of that money to Mexico to start their new life.
