I was walking down the hall heading to first period I was listening to the squeak of peoples shoes when out of nowhere I felt dehydrated and thought “ hhhm water sounds good right now”. So I went to the water fountain filled up my water bottle to the brim and then it started to spill out the water bottle. “Hi Mosley, how are you doing today?” said Ms J as I walked into office “ I'm doing good today.” I replied, hoping she didn't ask about the football game today.  Once the bell rang signaling that class was starting I looked at all the passes I had to hand out in a bit I started to remember the first play of the football game. I start sweating instantly, sweat starts to drip down my head like I just got done with practice it feels like I just dumped my head in water and didn’t dry it off, I wiped off al my sweat from my head with my shirt since I didn’t have anything else to wipe it with. As im walking around handing out passes to all the teachers all of them notice my jersey and ask if im playing today and I answer all of them with yes, then they say “good luck in the game today hope you guys win.” Me not caring about what the say i just reply saying “thank you.” 

The bell rings for class to be over i go to 2nd period and everyone in the hall say the same thing as the teachers “good luck today.” Me as always never paying attention i say “thank you.” I see all my teammates say wassup to them and get hyped for the game together. In class I wasn't even paying attention i was just thinking about the game and how I pictured the game going. Scholl goes on as normal and it the same routine with everyone they say the same thing over and over again, I start to get tired of it so I just put in my headphones to block out all the noise. The bell rings signaling that school is over. I head to the stadium to get ready for the game i go with one of my teammates we listen to music and start getting hyped pumping each other up. We arrive at the stadium and our coach says “ forget about everything that happened at school today it game time, we only looking for one right now.” 

Its an hour away from kick off and I put on all my gear for the game I go out early to get tape because earlier in the week I hurt my arm during practice. We do our warm ups before the game everyone on the team is hyped the crowd is hype our coach is hyped. “Everyone stay focus just think about the play do your job and everything will work out fine and we will win this game.” says our coach. The lights in the stadium turn of coach call out for kick off we go out onto the field the ref blows the whistle and the kicker say “pirates are you ready.” and we say back “ READY!” he kicks it. Defences is on first the other team goes out trying to score but they fail and don't even get a first down on that drive. Offences gets the ball i call the play “ X Y return 80.” I snap the ball “ready set hike.
