JoJo's Bizarre Dining Adventure
“Dio!” Jotaro cried, his fists clenched. “Yes, Jotaro,” began Dio in a menacing tone. “You thought it would be any other customer, but it was me, Dio! I’ve come for…”
Jotaro winced. What could this annoying man want from him?
“A refund!” Exclaimed the blonde man. “I came last not and you fools mucked up my order.” He said angrily.
Jotaro sighed. “What did you need refunded?” “A Star Platinum Burger meal with a large fry and drink.” “Good grief,” Jotaro began. “That’s not even on the menu anymore. Do you have your receipt or the name of a manager that you may have spoken to?”
“As a matter of fact, I do not.” Dio replied, a smug expression upon his face. “Then I’m afraid there’s nothing that I can do for you.” Jotaro replied. “What!?” Yelled Dio, slamming his fist on the counter so hard that it caused the register to shake. “That’s preposterous! I demand to see your manager.” Jotaro sighed. His irritation was immeasurable. It was obvious to him that Dio was trying to get a refund for a purchase that he had never made. All of this on his first day at this job, too! It appeared that he would have to call over his manager, Jonathan Joestar. More embarrassingly, his manager was also his grandfather. He was sure that he would get a stern talking-to once they clocked out and went home.
“Oh my God!” Cried Jonathan upon seeing Dio. “Dio, you rascal! What seems to be the problem, old friend?” He asked, a twinge of sarcasm in his voice. Jonathan knew all too well that Dio was an annoyance. He could tell that he was just there to give his grandson a hard time.
“Well, JoJo,” Dio began, sure of himself. “Your grandson here says I can’t get a refund for my Star Platinum Burger meal!”
“Hm,” pondered the elderly man. “We no longer serve that item. Do you happen to have a receipt, Dio?” “Well, no…” Admitted the customer, seeing that his ruse was failing. “Then, I’m sorry, old friend, but I can’t help you.”
“Very well, then!” Huffed Dio. “Expect a poor review on your Yelp! page!”
Jonathan gave Jotaro a pat on the back. “You really kept your cool there, son,” said the older man. “I can see that you’ve got a bright future here at McStando’s. Keep up the good work.” “Thanks, old man.” Replied the youth, tipping his visor to his elder. A lesson was learned that day, but he knew that there was still much more to learn.
