The Trust
There was a girl who tried everything she could possibly do to gain her parents’ trust. I mean that’s just what every teenager goes through right? Anyways back to introducing her, her name is Maritza she is a 14-year-old freshman high school student. Every day it was just a normal day but then one day, something mysterious happened at night. It’s a Friday afternoon after school, Maritza felt like she had her heart in her stomach she was trying to build up her courage to ask her austere parents if she can go to a quinceañera. The ended up saying no and making excuses why she can’t go. Her parents never let her go to parties, sleepovers, and school activities it made her feel like a bird trapped in a cage. High school is everything to a teenager it is all about going out with friends to have fun or go support the school at the stadium watching different sports play, and prom!!! Who doesn’t love to go have some fun?
Later a night Maritza went to sleep because she was so devastated that her parents didn’t allow her to go to the party, then she woke up in this very magical garden it was like a paradise delighting, enchanting, alluring no other place could compare. A bright small pink light appeared coming towards Maritza, it was a fairy, the fair told Maritza “I will grant you a wish in exchange for something.” Maritza didn’t hesitate she instantly explained to the fairy what she wished for. So then the fairy agreed and said “I will grant you your wish but you will have to take care of me for a week and do not dare speak of me to others you have to be clandestine of our conversation.” Then a strong wind came, and a tornado started ascending from it took Maritza into the eye of the tornado it all went pitch black, Maritza woke up in her room she was back into reality “But where did the fairy go? I guess I was just being derided.” It was the next day Maritza went to school as if it were a normal day, she then gets home and goes to her room to put her stuff away. There she was the fairy she then continues to say, “remember the promised we made you will have to care of me for whole a week.
A whole week passed, and it came to be a Friday again Maritza had another party invitation and the fair told her “Go ahead ask your parents and you will see what their response is” and so Maritza went to the living room to ask her parents if they gave her permission to go to a party and they allowed her to go. Maritza couldn’t believe it she felt like it was a dream she was finally allowed to go to a party. She would always dress up, do her hair, and makeup she finally has the chance to show everyone what she has been doing at home. After getting ready Maritza arrives at the reception hall and she sees her friends, her friends where surprised that she was there they asked her “omg Maritza how are you here I thought you couldn’t go out” Maritza responded saying “Let’s just say it was magic that made my parents change”. It was 12 o’clock it was late Maritza called her parents to pick her up she gets home and lays on her bed she was so tired from the party and then the fairy appears “I must leave now since you’ve done your part of our deal, I hope you don’t mess up and loose your parents trust” she said, and the POOF the fairy vanished in a pink cloud. Maritza got all ready for bed and went to sleep in a flash she was really exhausted. Maritza never did anything to lose her parents trust she didn’t want to be stuck home again that would be a nightmare.
